About Dr. Tara Brown

Dr. Tara Brown

Dr. Tara Brown has embraced a healthy, active lifestyle from an early age, which shaped her path toward a career in health and wellness. After experiencing a ski injury at the age of 14, she sought care from a chiropractor to help with her recovery. That experience sparked her desire to help others in the same way.

Dr. Brown pursued her dream at the University of Western Ontario graduating with a Honours Bachelor of Arts Specialization in Kinesiology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, graduating in 2013 with Clinic Honours. Dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care, Dr. Brown has continued to expand her skills in Muscle Release Therapy (MRT), Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and the Webster Technique.

Dr. Brown has a special interest in pre- and postnatal wellness. As a mother of two, she understands firsthand the physical and emotional challenges women face during and after pregnancy. Whether it's managing pregnancy-related discomfort, promoting postpartum recovery, or helping them return to the activities they love, she is passionate about supporting moms through every stage. In addition to her expertise in pre and postnatal care, Dr. Brown is trained in paediatric chiropractic care and is devoted to supporting infants and children through every stage of their growth and development.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brown is an avid runner and has competed in a variety of running races from the 5k to marathon distance. She brings the same dedication and care to her patients as she does to her training, always striving to help each individual reach their optimal health potential.

" I made an appointment with Dr. Tara because I was waking at night with right shoulder pain. It was quite painful and caused numbing in my fingers and thumb. Tara sent me for X-rays which showed I was arthritic and likely had a pinched nerve. Tara treated me with deep massages to my shoulders, upper back, hand, arm & thumb. It took some time, but I do not experience any of these problems anymore. "
